Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. When you complete your profile, we collect your phone number and shipping address so a winning bid can actually be fulfilled. We also store your bids, your Buk transaction history, and your referral relationships (who referred you, and who you've referred).

2. How we use this information

We use this information to run auctions, maintain your Buk balance, award referral and ad-watch bonuses, contact you if you win an auction to arrange payment and shipping, and prevent abuse of the bidding or referral system.

3. Your bids stay sealed

No other user — including through any feature of the app — can see your bid amounts or your identity in connection with a bid. This isn't just a UI choice: it's enforced at the database level, so it holds even against direct or aggregate queries. Admins can see bid amounts only where necessary to operate the platform, such as determining an auction's winner or resolving a tie.

4. Third-party services

We use Google for account sign-in, and Supabase for our database, authentication, and file storage. These providers process data on our behalf as part of running the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and transaction history for as long as your account is active, and as needed to resolve disputes, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You can update your profile information (name, phone, shipping address) at any time from your account page. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to records we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes, such as completed transaction history.

7. Children's privacy

Everything1Buck is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
